Find a way to check off on some frequency the tasks that move you towards completion on a task. If you want to lose weight, make a checklist for exercise 3x/week, drink 8 glasses of water daily and each day you eat healthy. We like to check things off and like to see achievement, seeing all those checks will help you honestly stay on track to achieving your goal.
It can be a weekly checklist, monthly or even yearly for things like number of books you want to read in a year or say try 5 new restaurants. The goals are endless. But, monitoring is proven to make sure you succeed with them.
